Another question...AWD/FWD
Members,
I have one other question...I live in Washington. Do I need AWD? I was wondering how many of you considered AWD, but then chose FWD. I am not trying to shave costs, but I am obsessive about getting precisely what I need at my target price. Your thoughts...
Ryan
P.S.--I don't ski, and I don't like snow. The RX would probably be garaged in the rare event of big snow in favor of my '01 RAV4 which kicks butt in snow.

Just because you don't like snow doesn't mean you might not HAVE to drive in it sometime. You live in WA not FL. Do you "need" it? No, Would it give you piece of mind WHEN you get caught in a storm? Yes. I guess it depends on what value you place on piece of mind.

No, I don't play soccer!
Ryan, what do they sell more of by you, the FWD or AWD RX?
IMO, I'd go with AWD if you live in an area that gets snow. You might not drive in it but when you go to sell it, it'll add to resale/make it easier to sell. And AWD is not just for snow. It helps in the rain too.

not sure if you are looking at 350 or 450? the 450 is fwd nearly all the time until you need it. In the case of snow it works brilliantly. IMHO - get AWD just in case.
