Default Leather Care

Hello-- I am a new owner (just one month) of 2010 RX 350 and I was looking for some tips on taking care of the interior leather. I would appreciate if any of you can share your experience and if this has been already discussed on other forums, then any pointers to that thread will also help.

Thanks.

Default Leather Care

I have used LEXOL on my Porsche leather with very great success. Haven't tried it yet on the 2010 RX350.

Put a coat down... works great. I have the luxury package with the semi-aniline leather.

I have used Lexol for years on all my cars and always been very happy with it.

Thanks. Where do you buy these products from? Is lexol.com the only reliable source? Doesnt look like home depot or costco carry these products.

My Lexus dealer carries it as well as my local Ace Hardware store.

Most major auto supply stores do as well.

How often do you use the Lexol on the semi-aniline leather?

Dunno. Check owners manual. In the end though, it's up to you.

Letherique is what I use. I think it's the best leather protection money can buy, in my opinion. I use Prestine Clean and Rejuvinator Oil. They don't have Silicone in the ingredients.

I love Zaino products for my exterior! I've never used their leather care. I'm sure they're great too. Check out the detailing section here. You'll learn all about which products to use to suit your needs.

I've used Zaino, Lexol and Leatherique, and I prefer the Zaino by far. They are all surely very good for your leather seats, but the Zaino adds a great leather smell.
Available from www.zainostore.com and almost nowhere else.
Highly recommended.

Well, I hope you're right on the Zaino. I ordered the leather cleaner and conditioner plus, the Z-2 Pro and accelerator. After reading the comments it sounded good to me. I will post results after using these products.

Thanx
