I believe that we have a winner!!! It sure looks like the new Venza under camouflage, and someone has mistaken it for the new RX. There are just way to many common elements, and the headlights really appear to give it away. Now, it's possible that Lexus is also coming out with a smaller sized crossover based on the Venza. At least there has been a persistent rumor of a smaller SUV type vehicle. So, then the question will be, should one look at buying the Venza or the Lexus equivalent, and why.
I'm still betting that the new and improved RX is an evolution of the existing with many added goodies like duel exhaust, keyless ignition etc.

"The car looks very similar to the new Toyota Venza coming out in the same year."
As far as the interior no pictures yet, guess everybody has to wait

I was looking forward to trading in my 04 for a new 10, but they seem to look very similar, and now I doubt that I will do so. We will know more after the car is shown by Lexus at the Paris Auto Show (Oct 4, I believe) where Lexus will "unveil" the car for the "first time."

even if it looks almost the same on the outside, that doesnt mean that it looks the same on the inside.
my 04 is missing:
bluetooth, smart access, parking sensors, a better nav and a better engine.
so...i think i will trade mine in for a hybrid RX

If they make it look just like a venza....then it's a no go.
Lexus can differentiate similar models: Camry vs ES 350 and Highlander vs RX 350 as examples.
My 2008 RX looks sleek even today , after 4 + years of the same design..
Let's all wait to see what happens, also hope that the price is not near 50K

RXSF notes that "my 04 is missing: bluetooth, smart access, parking sensors, a better nav and a better engine."
Well, so is mine, but I added a bluetooth device, I'm smart enough to gain access myself, the rear backup camera is much better than "sensors," the NAV is good enough, and 350 engine is not $30,000.00 worth of bigger or better.
It would be nice, though.

2010 Lexus RX hits up the Nurburgring
Earlier last week, we saw spy shots of the new 2010 Lexus RX hanging outside the streets of Nurburgring.
There are no details on any changes to the powertrain lineup, but a new entry level fuel-efficient model is expected. A new V8 is also said to be in the works. The 2010 Lexus RX is heavily based on the Lexus LF-Xh which was powered by a V6 gasoline engine mated to a high-output electric motor hybrid system.
We expect a Detroit Auto Show debut in January 2009.

NOOOOO. My car is going to replaced soon
I think I am like the only one who hopes it never comes. Its like you when you know you did bad on a test and hopes the teacher never corrects it.
