If some one has access to factory shop manual, could you please post the actual torque value?
Thanks

I know on the RX330 the torque is 67inch pounds which is about 6 ftlbs torque. From experience at removing the RX300 pan at least 6 times you will be perfectly safe at 6-8 foot lbs of torque. The strainer (filter) bolts are 96 inch lbs (8 foot lbs) of torque. I have been repairing the RX300 and RX400h for 18 years... You will find most torque wrenches will not do less than 10 foot lbs, So you need an inch pound torque wrench.

Thanks man. I do have a small torque wrench. After working on cars for some 20 years myself as you know you can feel the right torque. However with trany and oil pans you want to be exact All around the pan.
Thanks again
