Check engine; VSC off indicator
Anyone get this message out of the blue? It is intermittent. (The tire pressure indicator came on b/c of drop in temperature and isnt related)

Pepboys will read that CEL, no charge, or you can buy a $20 code reader and look yourself. Without the CEL code, it's hard to know if everything is related or not.
For me, when I turn the car off, the tire pressure light shuts off. It will come on again if the pressure is low.
You say it's intermittent, how so? The CEL isn't on all the time or the VSC isn't on all the time?

The CEL and VSC were on for a few days then just went off today. The tire pressure monitor came on separately after a cold spell & the spare tire sensor was the culprit.
Edit: as above, the Trac off light was also on. Could this be an O2 sensor issue? I guess I need to determine the code.
