Default DRL question

I just noticed today that one of the filaments on my DRL was out. Are there two filaments on the DRL's?

When I just have the DRL's on the lower filament is lit on both sides. When I turn on the driving lights then it looks like the top filament turns on on one side, but on the other side does not turn on.

Are these separate bulbs that can be changes or are they part of one unit? I tried searching the forum and didn't see anything describing the bulbs. I also didnt have time to mess around outside since the high today was 4 degrees.

thanks for any help you can provide.

The DRLs are the hi beam on 40%. So I assume you need to change the hi beam bulb.

I think the small bulb above DRL [High beam bulb ] is T10 W5W as I just order a LED replacement on the way.

I just replaced that bulb in your photo today. I bought a 9005 bulb and when I removed the existing bulb realized it was not a headlight bulb. After more research it is called a parking light bulb. It is a number 168 bulb. I returned the headlight bulbs and bought the parking light bulb.

W5W or 168 both are T10 Wedge with same 10mm socket and can be mutual replaced
