I just installed an ipod adapter in my 07 RX350 which has dealer installed XM that I don't use anymore. I removed whatever 16pin center connector was in the stereo, and plugged in my ipod adapter into that center connector (without reconnecting anything with a Y).

My question is, does anything else use that center connector besides the XM on a non-nav non-ML setup? Everything (FM+6disc+ipod) seems to be working the way I want it to, and the steering wheel controls still work, so I'm just looking for reassurance that I didn't disconnect some unknown item that I will regret.

I got started on this project half-cocked because I can't stand listening to christmas music on my FM stations anymore and just had to have my ipod! Thanks for reading my dumb questions!
