Lizardking

Hi guys, I'm getting a wierd sound from my breaks whenever I press firmly on them. Its sort of a metal hydraulic pumping action. Like an electric motor forcing itself to rotate against some surface. The breaks work actually stop and if I break with normal pressure I don't get the effect. What could be causing this? Should I be concerned?

It has been almost a year but I wanted to thank the user above. The dealer fixed the issue at no cost to me since it was covered by toyota. Its been an awesome fmaily car ever since. Thanks!
