Instrumental Cluster and Interior LEDs
Hello everyone,
I have searched and browsed around but was unable to find any thread topic about this. I was wondering if it is possible to change the instrumental cluster and A/C display from stock color to white. I am very OCD and recently replaced with an aftermarket stereo that only displays white color only. It does not give me the ability to change to other colors. The color mismatch really annoys me.

I would not touch the cluster unless you are very handy with soldering and electronics. Toyota/lexus switched to soldered LED's in their clusters around the 2000 mark on most of their higher end cars. Not sure if the A/C display uses filaments or soldered bulbs as my car has nav.
I do LED conversions on older toyota's that use filament bulbs so I'm very familiar with the process. On my old 2001 Highlander, which shares very similar characteristics to my current '04 RX330, the cluster is soldered, which I pulled it trying to convert it to blue from white (ended up not doing it). I assume the RX would be soldered and I expect nothing less from a luxury car. That said, I may pull it down the road and report back.
