Fluid in Drive Shaft?
This weekend I was replacing all four struts on my 07 RX350 and I made the mistake of allowing the front left hub assembly to rotate too far out and away from the vehicle which resulted in part of the drive shaft separating. Looking at the picture below, the axle inboard joint boot and tripod joint assembly, which is attached to the shaft going to the hub, separated from the front drive inboard joint assembly. Fortunately I was able to get the tripod joint back into the joint assembly and slip the boot back in place but I lost fluid in the process.
How can I get the CV joint grease back in there without pulling the entire drive shaft out?

I'm also in this right now. There is a standard CV axle grease pack (4 oz) that you can pick up at Napa or Oreilly.
I'm Just trying to find a good quality clamp and tool to put the boot back on.

$3.69

This is the cv clamp from Autozone:

This works great but you also want to repack the assembly with your fingers with CV joint Grease also sold at Auto parts stores. I already had the cv clamp tool from years ago...make sure the rubber under the clamping area and on the housing is dry and clean.
