Lexus RX400H Door Dented
My Lexus RX400H door was dented recently.I have been given three options
1) Get a new Door --In this case cost will be around 600£ (350 for Door +250 for painting etc)
2) Repair the existing door (Cost around £250) but repair shop cant gurantee it will look exactly same as before (May be 90% similar)
3) Get a used door for same color --I am getting a used door for RX300 for 130£ .will same door fit into RX400H?
Please help me to choose correct option
Regards
Lalit

Sorry to hear about the door dent.
Can you post a pic of the dent? how big is it and what is the shape (oval)?
even if you get a used door of the same color, it might be a perfect color match, due to age, fading by the sun, and you might have to get it painted ($200-$300) to get an exact match. the RX330, RX350 and RX400H the doors should match. If you want to verify that, go online, find the part number for the RX400H, then check with the other two models if the part number is the same.
I would get a used door, and paint it if necessary. here in the US, there are a lot of salvaged RXs to be had,

I would try paintless dent repair first and then go for the used door. You could possibly have a fitment problem because the rx400h is slightly larger than the rx350 but I highly doubt the door wouldnt fit.
