2008 RX 350 LED interior mods
ok i have ordered all my led light mods because i never realy liked the orange accent lighting so i am replacing them with white leds my goal is to make a detailed post with images to show others how to do the mods and i am going to try and change the door sill lights as well so i plan to update my status and add images as i progress

I haven't really given much thought to doing any other lights at this time. If the door sills are reasonably easy, I probably will somewhere along the line. Right now doing things to my cars (my RX and my wife's IS) has taken a back seat to other things. Sometimes life gets in the way.

front led bulb replacment
ok all my led lights came today and here is what i have got changed so far i did all the main cabin lights i went with VLED NOT cheap but worth the money this the list of all the bulbs you will need to do your full led change over minus the doors i installed custom lexus logo lights in my doors i will take pics
for the front dome and map lights you need
2 number 57 bulbs and 1 3175 bulb and if you want to change the accent lights you will also need 2 5mm bulbs which needs to be soldered in i took pics of that operation
and the same 5mm bulbs replace the foot well lights that is a differnt story
the two tiny holes are the accent lights which are orange i changed mine to white
this section is held on by 4 scews the lens must be removed first
these are covers that hid the two scews in the back under the sunglass lid
you will see two scews after you remove the lens
this is the back side of the light housing this is where the fun begins
this is the map light button gentley relese these tabs to remove it
in this photo you can see the led lights they fit into a black housing
this is the new leds prior to instalation
this is where you weld te new ones in the longer wire is the postive side of the led and the board is also marked postive as well
