2005 RX330 AWD trans hesitation
My 2005 RX330 AWD is a great car. I bought it a few months ago with 50,000 miles on it for around $18,000 in NC. I've been wondering if anyone is experiencing transmission lagging/hesitation issues? It seems to happen when I need to hit the brakes for something, then get back on the gas to proceed. It seems like it takes 1 or 2 seconds to engage sometimes. My dealer warranty is close to expiring, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks! Dottie

Hey Dottie,
welcome to the forum. Is your question, when you step on the gas, and you fee it should shift gears, it takes longer than it should? I also have a 05 RX, 169k miles and I do have to say, I experience that gearing issue as well. It doesn't always shift as early, as I think it should, and also it's not always 'smooth', meaning in jerks a little when it shifts to a lower gear.
All that got better when I put lighter wheels on.
