Default Head lights

what type of head lights are in my 07 rx350 awd? All I know is they turn with the car. I think I have to replace 1.

At nite, parked in the driveway or garage, when you turn them one do they get brighter? if they do, you have HID.

when you turn them on and while they brighten up you see them move, up and down, you have AFS.

Also, on the left of the steering wheel, there's a small control panel with a door to hide it, if you have an AFS button, on/off, you have AFS. It's an option not all OEM HIDs have 'em.

AFS = Adaptive Front-Lighting System which means there's a small motor that moves them as you corner, above 30 mph.

only OEM headlight housings have the AFS feature, nothing aftermarket does.

I just swapped my hazy headlight lenses, for used ones from fleabay. makes a HUGE difference (to me).

I know I have AFS. Love it. Its like they auto adjust every time you start the car.
I dont think my head lights get brighter.
Is there a video on how to replace them?

You definitely have HID if you have AFS.

If you are replacing the headlight housing, all it is is taking the bumper off (and the black, plastic under belly), and it's 3 bolts I think to take off the headlight housing. Ask Siri or search youtube, and there is a thread here about taking off the bumper.

It's a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being stuff like head gasket or changing out the transmission. it's all bolt on.

If I can do it, you can.

Do you need to replace the headlight bulb or housing? It wasn't clear to me.

Just to make sure what I should be looking for, did you just replace the lenses and not the headlight assembly?
