If you do replace the bushings, I would recommend NOT getting Whiteline Performance Bushings.

Stick with a standard rubber style bushing. I installed some Whiteline bushings, as per their instructions, and they failed 4 weeks later.

This time around I went with MOOG Bushings PN# K200780
Great info and thank you for your learning experience. I've had decent luck with the MOOG ones (I just ordered some for an RV), so it's timely!

I forgot what tires I had on the car prior, I think some model Dunlop, and I had the same issue as well.

Now I have some Yokohama Avid Envigor and love them.

Just an update, still have some vibration at higher speed.

Finished replacing the rear wheel bearings, and all new brakes/rotors.
Next I've replaced both lower control arms, ball joints and sway bar end links. I also replaced the front wheel bearings and front hubs (although they felt fine).......still there at highway speeds.

I have had the tires balanced again and still no change.

Yes, the car is feeling tighter with all the new parts, braking well, but vibration is still there. Just ordered some new front axle shafts and this will have to be it. Got some Empi's (I hope) so plan on putting them on once they arrive.

Even if I eventually sell the vehicle, I really need to get it riding smoothly. Someone will definitely notice.

Well, one of two axle shafts arrived. I guess Amazon's advertising of "Empi" axles turn out to be "Empire" ones.....

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Vendor: Lake County Parts Warehouse

The second one arrives today from another vendor and we'll see which one I receive there. I guess I'll evaluate once it arrives if I want to install or try to find Empi ones.

I got everything off except struts... hoping I don't have to take those off too. I've hammered a few times and I think the passenger one moved a little but I'm getting a slide hammer now.

I noticed the driver's side had a clip o. The end of the new shaft where it goes into differential. Do I need to somehow remove the existing one to pull the original drivers shaft out or do I just hammer away like I'm doing on the passenger side?

Got the passenger side out with more hammering. Couldn't get the slide hammer to work. So now, have driver's side but don't know how I can get any angle on it?!? Ideas?

Man I wish I could help. You've gone forever without a response. Is there anything (cclips, bolt holes, gaskets?) on the new part that might tell you more about what you need to release the old one?

Thanks! Not a lot of guys have probably done it yet so it's understandable. I got the outer shaft and boot off, just the hard part remains. Had to break for homecoming dance for my daughter. Will hit it again tomorrow.

Here is where I'm at and the end of shaft with snap ring

I have not done one on the RX330-400h series, but on the old RX300, it just took a lot of force to pop the drive shaft out of the transaxle. The little clip on that groove is all that retains it.

If that's the case, can you use a come-along or something similar and yank it out like a bad tooth?
Also, is the tranny in neutral? Could be the gears causing the problem.

Got it! So tired though (had to finish car and then cut and haul wood on our property).

So I was thinking this morning, how can I do this...there must be a way. And then it dawned on me, drill a hole and use that for my anchor point. I was originally thinking to put a bolt in there and somehow get that connected to the slide hammer. Decided, I'll just try putting one of the slide hammer jaws into the hole and give it a few wacks. After about 4 or 5 wacks, it came right out! No problem and not nearly the force needed compared to the passenger side.

Got everything all put back together and just have to top off the tranny/diff fluid again with the special Toyota tranny fluid. I have about a quart left over from my change so hopefully I have enough. Anyways, success!

Now, we'll see if it fixed the vibration or not in the next day or two when I test drive.

Here are some pics....
