Default Some issues with new to me 2004 RX330

Picked up my 330 today. First time Lexus owner. It's a 2004 with 125000 miles.

I was already able to fix a few things from this forum. The moonroof was acting odd and I followed the reset procedure here and it's perfect now.

I have a few concerns.

1) the brakes are very mushy. They also make a hiss with the car in park if you push the pedal and release you can hear a whoosh and click that follows. Pumping the pedal does not improve the pedal travel. It seems to take a curious amount of force when stopping somewhat hard. Not crazy, but enough that it's noticeable.

2) there seems to be a knocking noise. It sounds like it is coming from the center of the dash. It sounds worse than a typical dash rattle. Almost like if a plastic panel under the car is vibrating but it sounds too loud for that.

3) the passenger side mirror is messed up. It looks like there are doubles of everything and it's very hazy. I see a ton of glass replacement online and on eBay . Some are heated. Virtually all say no memory no dimming. Does anyone make just the glass with memory , heated, and dimming?

Other than that the car drives like a dream. Much quieter and smoother than my $42k Pathfindrr platinum 2013). That leave is up in two months. Not leasing again! Cash cars only here on out. (Thanks dave Ramsey).

I have an appointment at a Toyota inspect the car. I'll keep posted what they find. Just seeing if anyone had thoughts?

I did see TSB here about the coil causing knocking iver bumps but this sounds like a knock with a rattle.

Thanks for al, the great content!

Maintenance history on the car? Last time the brake fluid was flushed/changed? Brake line inspection?

I was able to pull the history from Lexus.com from new to about 100,000 miles. They had the full service at 90k (brake flush, timing belt, coolant flush, transmission flush, etc). I didn't see anything regarding the 120,000 service. I anticipated I would need spark plugs. I'm planning for another transmission flush but wasn't considering a brake flush.

I've never done a brake flush on any car I've owned (upwards of about 180,000 miles on many cars), and never had an issue. Is the Lexus brake system that sensitive that brake fluid would go bad or become water logged in 40,000 miles? It seems virtually impossible for water or condensation to enter an air tight, air free, pressurized brake system (assuming everything else is OK).

One of the reasons Lexus last so long is people tend to maintain them. Why the aversion to simple maintenance? Did you know you're supposed to change the radiator fluid as well?
