Today, I went to install a sheepskin seat cover in my wife's car. I raised the headrest to maximum height, but couldn't figure out how to remove it completely? I didn't want to force it in case there were wires or a retaining clip - - could someone please tell me the secret?

Press the same button you use to lower the headrest to remove the headrest.

I think you have to fidget it out. Usually theres a little locking groove to keep it from coming off too easy.

I haven't checked mine yet but will do now and let you know.
