2004 RX 330 ABS kicking on at very low speed
Hard to fix? Only happens when going under 5 mph either in slow traffic or slowing down to park in parking spot or just stopping the car. Doesn't happen at high speeds. It's like I'm driving on snow or ice or wet pavement but there is dry pavement. Brake pads and rotors were cleaned with no success. Guessing that a sensor is dirty or broken or such. Any thoughts? Just joined so you can refer me to links if this is a previously discussed problem.

locate the abs sensor on each hub. They will attract metal filings that can confuse the sensor over time on the tip.
Sometimes it can be the tone ring on the axle which might be damaged causing the abs system to give a false reading of slipping. Overall the fronts are easier to unplug and replace. The rear sensors require you to get behind interior panels to see where they plug in if you need a full replacement. For each sensor, there is one bolt securing it to the chassis and one bolt to secure the sensor to the hub.

You are experiencing a classic degraded (as in weak or low amplitude) or pulsating (as in varied amplitude or intermittent, at least as far as the computer is concerned) signal from (likely) one of the wheelspeed sensors.
While I'm intimately familiar with (early) ABS operation, I am not familiar with the specifics of our hardware - and Fast's suggestion(s) are of interest to me too.
If my theory per your experience is correct, you are experiencing one of the biggest causes for low-speed introductions to new people as well as adrenalin dumps that you can ever receive from your car's braking system.
If it were mine, I'd be removing the fuse to the ABS until the system could be fully diagnosed (but my lawyer would cringe at such a recommendation - but then again, he wouldn't be driving the car).

If you can do thist, pull every wheel out ,use a flashlight to check behind each rotor for the opening of the ABS tone ring while rotating the wheel hub,if you see a broken one that is the problem,do not go and replace all the CV axle, you can order a tone ring, take the cv axle out and take it to press shop and can press the new ring in place,I learned this the hard way
of course ypu may check the sensors also and take it out and clean
