Default Japanese models vs Canadian or North American

Hey everyone, new guy here. Hope everyone is doing good.

I have a 2007 RX350 which was built in Canada. I want to buy cross drilled and slotted rotors, but they're saying it's for "Japanese made Lexus only" I had no idea that brakes and rotors were different in Japanese made Lexus. Has anyone tried using Japanese parts in North American made Lexus? Or where can i find cross drilled and slotted rotors for North American models?

Edit: Sorry Mods, can you please move this thread in the Canadian section?

Cheers.

Have you checked whether the replacement part numbers for Jap or Can models are the same?

I don't know about the brakes...but I know certain little things are different. Like the posts for the head rests are different sizes depending on where the car was assembled. So if it says Japan and you have a Canadian one, I would keep looking.

Cool...I'm assuming that North American parts would be the same, but not Japanese?

I'll keep looking around for them. Appreciated.
