Default 2007 RX Timing Belt Casing Oil Leak

Just got my RX back from dealership. It was a major repair that requires engine to be taken out among other things. Although there was TSB 1107 was quoted $3100 for repair. Since I have a good relationship with the dealership, my final bill came to $1300 no peanuts nonetheless.

Just a heads-up for everyone. Watch out for oil leak passenger side.

I've read about the timing cover leak; found it when I google searched oil leaks and rx350. I recall one of the symptoms of the timing cover leak is that oil drips onto the passenger side lower control arm bushing. (I don't have a source for that, just going from memory)

I thought I had the same leak back in the winter when I had oil dripping off the bottom of the power steering pump and landing on the frame rail. My leak turned out to be one of the vvti hoses.
