RX 330 Engine seems to stall
Hello
I have a 2006, RX 330 with approximately 130,000 miles. I was driving up a hill today and my engine seemed to stall. I pumped the throttle a couple of times and it seamed to take care of the problem. I am thinking it is a dirty fuel filter. Would a pressure test on the fuel line give me the answer ? And yes I did check and there is plenty of fuel in the tank.Your responses are greatly appreciated.
Sincerely

its uncommon for the fuel filters to be serviced, its not even listed in the maintenance schedule.
Are you still on your stock plugs? A bad plug or 2 can exhibit similar symptoms.

Thank you for your replies
I purchased the car just a couple of months ago so I am not sure if the plugs have ever been replaced. Ill check them and the fuel pressure this weekend and get back to you.

The plugs would be replaced at 120K miles on your vehicle. You might want to check the vehicle for any trouble codes. You also should register your vehicle at the Lexus Drivers website. your complete service history at Lexus will be there.

Hey Rainbird
I just registered my car at Lexus Owners.com and I cant believe the wealth of information that came up, three pages. Thank You for the tip I appreciate it and thanks to all of you that has posted. The spark plugs were changed at the 90,000 mile service along with the timing belt, drive belts water pump and coolant. I called the Lexus service department and they recommended to add an injector cleaner to the fuel so I am going to give that a try.
