I am trying to find out where I can buy a v-bank cover bolt for a '04 Lexus RX330. One end of the bolt is screwed into the valve cover and the other end holds the v-bank cover in place.
The star bit end of a bolt broke off and needs to be replaced. Anyone know where I can purchase a bolt and what the part number is?
the external star is only for extraction, if you don't remove via the double nut method. A standard M8 stud can be found at your local Ace hardware. Or stop by any Lexus/Toyota part counter for an engine cover stud.
