The A pillar on the driver side started leaking during a heavy rain. The water leak started where there is a seam on the A pillar. I took it to the dealer today but was curious if anyone else had this problem. My RX stays outside and I would not surprised if a vent tube or hole has clogged up and thus made the water back up instead of draining but that is just a guess.

I did use the search function and that is where I got my thoughts. This sounded like a job I did not want to do. The dealer found that the drain line from the sunroof was clogged causing the hose to disconnect. They reconnected the hose and cleared the clogging. Cost me $135 but to me it was worth it as it could have been any number of things, wind shield, roof rack or the sun roof. I got a loner car and as always the complimentary car wash. They also cleaned the water stain off the A pillar that the water leak had caused. Anyway, this is another post with the results of what caused the leak for future Lexus owner A pillar leak problems.
