Our RX330 has three drivers, and I wanted to add a third remote. I ordered an empty pre cut shell to my vin, and then a used OEM inside chip. I then picked up one of the Orange keymakers on eBay. Using the Orange keymaker I was able to program my new remote to start my car, and it works perfectly, suggesting the car is recognizing it as a key, but the remote functions do not work. None of the buttons on it function. So my question is: is there a limit to master type remotes that have keyless entry? And if not, how can I program this 3rd key. Ideally, I would like to avoid an insanely high charge at a dealer as my budget is a little tight currently.
