Default Need new rear struts, KYB?

I am pretty sure this topic has been discussed numerous times in this forum and I am sorry for bringing up this question, what is general consensus in replacing struts with KYB. Last weekend I was working on my rear brakes replacing the rear brakes pad. After removing the rear right tire I noticed the right rear strut I leaking, the rear left is fine . Rule of thumb is that struts must replaced in pairs.
KYB struts are much more affordable than Toyota brand. Is the comfortable ride will remain the same if I purchase KYB struts?
It is always recommended to replace struts mounts at the same time, is the KYB brand acceptable?.
Can you share your experiences with KYB brand struts/mounts before I place the order.

my air suspension died last year, and i converted all struts to coils using the KYB brand for everything, struts, mounts, bump stops. springs were Eibach. all ordered online.

No issues to date,

Im also happy with the ride quality

Have you noticed a difference in terms of comfort?. Like KYB struts too stiff so going over bumps feels different?.
