Welcome to club lexus.

moving to the right forum.

In general if you are in warranty, Lexus will honor it.

Once over, it gets into gray area and once way over then most likely it will be denied.

We had our transmission go about three months after the powertrain warranty expired. We contacted Lexus corporate in CA. We presented our case and they agreed to a 50/50 split on the repair.

Our transmission went bad at 63,000 miles on our 2005 RX330. This type of failure so early in the life of a vehicle can be very frustrating. We now have 100,000 on the vehicle and it has been perfect since the repair

Hope this helps!
