So I took my 2005 RX to the Stealership and they charged me $50 to personalize the remote feature.
I requested that ALL the Beeps be gone. They managed to do most except the read door hatch. They turned down the volume but insisted that the 2 beeps when you open and close the rear hatch cannot be removed.

I'm wondering - can i just clip the wires to the speakers of the rear hatch beeps. Will this not effect the alarm speakers?

Any thoughts on how I can eliminate the rear hatch beeps.
