I am looking to get new all season tires particular the Michelin Crossclimate SUV. Costco doesnt' seem to sell them in our stock size, 225/65r17, But they do sell them in 235/65R17. I know the spedometer will be off about 1% which is fine by me. How does having wider tires feel in daily driving? I know narrower tires are better in the snow but what about just handling and stability in general? would wider tires be better?

The tires are only 10mm wider, which is about a third of an inch.I seriously doubt that you would be able to tell any difference. My car's speedometer was about 2% too slow, so I got bigger tires to correct it.
