I have a 2005 RX330 and I am trying to pair an I Phone5 and I cannot get the car to see the phone.
I went to settings on the nav screen, selected add phone and a message comes up with a pass code to input on the new device. The I Phone's Bluetooth is enabled but the nav screen does not recognize it.
Is it possible that my generation of Bluetooth is not compatible with the I Phone?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I can confirm that an iPhone 5 will pair with the RX. I have not paired my newer 5S. The reason I have not paired the 5S is the microphone quality is very bad when using the Lexus BT. People on the other end will have a hard time hearing what you are saying.
