I have a 2002 rx350. 144k miles. Transmission went out. Trying to get coupon with Lexus to get fixed. Any warranties on this that anyone knows about?

First year RX350 was 2007, in 2002 it was only the RX300, I doubt you can get Lexus to bite a 12 year old vehicle.

Do you mean 2012 RX350?

He probably meant 2002. Unlikely a 2012 with 144k miles.

All you can really do is contact Lexus Corporate and see if they will be generous. Sometimes they pay for labor but not parts or vice versa. If you cannot get anything go to a tranny-specific shop NOT lexus. You want yourstaken out and rebuilt it will be much cheaper in the long run trust me.

And as ELITech said:

They will look at NSH, or National Service History, to examine if you are using the dealership to have your routine maintenance done, etc.) The ugly truth is that someone who never goes to the dealership may be less likely to receive assistance.
Unless you're getting all your oil changes and regular maintenance done at a Lexus dealership, Lexus doesn't really care about you.
