Default Rattling Noise on 2007 RX350

I have a 2007 RX 350 that just started making a rattling like noise when I get to speeds of 55 mph and over. This just started today and I can't figure out what might be causing it. Anyone have any ideas?

Check the plastic panels underneath your RX. If they are loose they will flap around and cause all sorts of racket. You can search the forums here at CL for more details on the matter.

I think I have found the source of the noise. It is a plastic piece that does have screws in it but appears that it also had part of it glued to the bottom of the vehicle. I wrapped a rag around the loose piece with rubber bands and drove around and the noise is no longer there. The glue or whatever substance that adhered part of the plastic piece to the vehicle has dried up and there is about an inch gap between the bottom of the vehicle and the plastic piece. Does anyone know what kind of glue or adhesive I could use to re-attach the piece or should I just take it to the dealership? It is long past warranty at 96,000 miles. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

No need to take it to the dealership. Anything they would use is easily obtainable. Could you perhaps take a picture or provide more details as to which plastic piece it was? With more details we can perhaps provide a better solution for this DIY project. For example:

I have the exact same issue with my vehicle as is shown in the picture on the link you gave me. I suppose just get some thick 3-M tape like they did?

Yes. Many ways to deal with that of your choice. Whatever is most convenient. Some of those automotive double-sided tapes are expensive, so do not hesitate to look elsewhere. Such as:

There are other foam tapes with aggressive glues you can get.
