Default 04 Air - coil suspension

I know the first thing you are thinking it, this has been covered. and it has.

i just spent the last 30 minutes searching and felt it appropriate to post at this point.

my right front corner is starting to sag, sewell lists the part for about 1200 bucks, plus other parts which will most likely be needed.

so it only makes sense to consider / convert to normal suspension. i have just over 200k km and do plan on keeping it for quite sometime despite the poor fuel mileage.

If i go with coils, where are people buying them?? i found this on ebay (it doesnt ship to canada, but its just an example)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2004-2006-Le...-/161204869270

I think this is decent because i get all the parts, and its assembled, so no messing with a coil compressor.

i like to consider all options, so if you can give me links to other threads (i missed) or to websites you have used for this conversion, please pass it on.

thanks.

Piece it together yourself and save money. It's not that hard to use the Sewell catalog and find used parts you need like the springs etc, and buy new struts.

It could just be height sensor. But if you convert, I'd be interested in the air suspension. I'm a couple of hours away so I can pick up.

the car drives fine, no lights. when its running, its level, the air pump and everything works. its when i turn the car off and wait a while, the right front is "out of air". which is why i suspect the strut is shot.

I just pulled the trigger and ordered all the parts needed to convert to conventional struts. $1368 at tirerack and another 260 at ************. should arrive in the next 10 days. Plus conversion to CAD.

hopefully i can part out the remaining good parts so i can at least break even.
