Default bluetooth option??

I have an '04 RX330 with navigation. Has anyone added/converted the CD/radio to a bluetooth and ipod accessible one?

I'm wondering if that is do-able. I love my RX but would love to have bluetooth for phone calls.

I am new to the group and hope I'm doing this right!

Thank you.

Welcome to Club Lexus, 04lexusgrl.

Like many topics you might have questions about in regards to your RX330, this one has been discussed on many occasions and therefore there is plenty for you to read. Search is your friend here at CL. For example:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...uestion-6.html

Along with:

First, you need to read Carver's writeup:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...a-dnx6960.html

Be sure to read all the way through this as there is also a writeup from 1koolfella who has a setup with the existing NAV.

Then, Packrat1's new writeup:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...-installs.html

That should get you started for now.

Before I decided to install my iPad Mini in the RX330, I was considering this device:

I have done the GROM kit myself on my 2008 RX 350 and it took me half an hour and it works perfect. I also installed the bluetooth part as well and now I can stream music from my iPhone and Samsung phones as well.
