Water problem
Hi to you all i wondered if anyone out there has experienced the same problem as i have with my RX300 2004 second gen.
I have a soaking wet patch on the rear passenger foot well i have checked all the usual suspects i.e. the sunroof drain off's, the sun roof seals, door card membranes and all seem to be water tight. But the water still keeps coming in??????
Are the roof bars bolted through so any old seal could let water by?
Is there any possible way water could be coming through the air con vent under the front seat?
If any ones got any ideas on this matter i would be glad of any help.
Many thanks Tim.
Plus i've checked all the interior hoses for any leaks and found nothing.

i had this EXACT issue and it was the sunroof drain tubes. How did you check these? For me, I had to remove the lower rocker panel on passenger side and blow air up the tube as you cannot access the rear drain tubes from up top. You can access the front drain tubes from up top - they drain water down the A-pillar.
I would do this first.

I have cleared the front drain tubes with a nylon line from a weed wacker best stuff to use as its flexible and wont pierce the rubber tubing. Didn't think about the rear drain tubes!!!! :-( tell me by Rocker cover do you mean the outer black plastic trim that covers the sill? or do you mean the inner kick plates?
Many thanks for your help.
Tim.
I have a compressor so blowing tubes wont be a problem i just need to know the general vicinity in which to check. :-)
