Question Glove Box Latch Replacement

I have a 2007 RX 350 and I need to replace the glove box latch. Is this a DYI repair? Other than the dealership what other type of shops might be able to perform this repair.

Welcome to Club Lexus, rmaddox1.

The repair can be DIY depending on your skill set. For items such as this we normally recommend you have a look at one of our sponsors, Sewell of Dallas, for such parts. If your create an account and indicate you are a member of CL you will automatically see any applicable discounts automatically added to given. But, you need to create the account first before you add the item to your basket.

You might find a similar such part used on eBay or a local salvage yard.

Undoubtedly it depends on the skill set but latch replacement has been done best by dealer .
