Default 2008 rx350 wheel/tire fitment. 22" or 24"

Looking for a set of wheels and tires for the summer. I am sure you guys can help. Looking for a set of 22" or 24" wheels/tires combo. What would work on my rx350? I do not want them sticking out past the wheel wells. Any and all information will help. Thanks, Robbie

Jesrob, I think the best you can hope for from this community is info about offsets and width. There are so many manufacturers out there and so few RX owners (even among us) who will invest in some nice wheels. These cars are more workhorses than anything else.

That being said, with the things you'd mentioned, you will want to stay with an 8.5" or 9" width wheel before you start getting a sizable amount of wheel that protrudes from the lower profile of the wheel well. At those diameters, though, I don't imagine you'd find too many reputable manufacturers that will make an 8.5" width one-piece wheel.

Another note, you'll probably kill your ride comfort quality as well.

I have 20x8.5 +25 offset all around with 255/45/20 tires. They are flush up front and just a little tucked in the rears. I have pictures in another thread.

Ride quality is good. Of course, after I dropped it with Eibach Pro Kit springs, the ride quality became more firm, but worth it for the improved handling.

In my opinion 20's look best. 22's would be ok and 24's are just too big and you'll be riding on thin/rubber band tires.

You might want to google images of RXs with 20's, 22's and 24's to see what looks best to you.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will stick with 20". Any suggestions on wheels/tires or where to buy?
