Washer fluid in radiator
In the middle of a snowstorm last night I needed to put window washer fluid in my 08 RX with 32k. In my hurry I added a small about of washer fluid to the radiator overflow. Just a small splash. Maybe 4 ounces. Do you think it will be ok?

Windshield washer fluid is basically just water and an alcohol such as methanol to prevent freezing. It is the other additives for cleaning which might be a problem. Overall, I doubt a small amount is going to be much of a problem in the short term. Have you driven the vehicle much since this was done? If not you could have just siphoned out the fluid from the reservoir tank and replaced it with 50/50 coolant. Take the cap off the overflow tank and see if there is any sediment you can see in it at the bottom.
I would consider having the system flushed and the coolant replaced with fresh first chance for the long term resolution to this.

Yes sir go ahead with the flushing part when possible,I did add a few cc s of a different coolant to my car sometime ago and now I got the overflow hose clogged twice after long drive ,looked at some syphoned fluid and could see particles ,not cleat as should be so hopefully will flush the radiator soon

I dont really think aprox. 4 ounces is going to hurt anything. However, some time in the future I would change out the coolant. And clean out the res. tank. (more of a warm fuzzy feeling than anything)
