Default 2004 rx330 transfer case

Hi I've searched thru the threads on changing the fluid for awd transfer case fluid. However wasn't able to find anything that had a good pic of the location for the fill and drain plugs for the front transfer case Hoping someone might have some decent pics to post showing these 2 locations in an easy to follow picture. Thanks!!

Look for something like this. For rx300:

Here is the best picture I have seen for the location of the drain and fill plug for the front transfer case:

Yup saw those too. Was hoping for something that was definitive for the 04 330 model that clearly showed fill and drain locations for the transfer case clearly. Anybody have something they can post easily. Want to make sure I don't drain wrong plug. Big thanks Ina dvance

If you have three plugs under there, one will be motor oil (obvious), one will be tranny (obvious), just drain the third one

Are you sure? They are just around the corner from each other. If you go back to the URL I posted and look at the last picture you will see the hose routed up to the No. 1 fill hole with the plug removed. Look at the pictures closely again and note that in the pictures when the wrench is shown it is attached to the Drain plug. The fill is 90° in opposition to the Drain plug. The orientation of the photo(s) may throw you off a bit. There is a No.2 plug up top, but you do not mess with that.

Note that the drain plug is difficult to loose without proper tool. What shown above is one approach. Loose the fill plug before loose the drain plug.

Don't forget about proper torque specs. Be sure to come back with your experiences.

We'll it went like a charm thanks to everyone's input. I was lucky that neither of the plug nuts were frozen. But I did have it improvise as the spaces for ratchets are tight as described already. For the drain nut I used a clamp wrench around the socket to work in the tight space near the exhaust. And for the fill nut I used a swivel adapter on the socket which gave me just enough angle to maneuver. Thanks again to all the great advise this forum delivers to us.
