the price we came to was 17000 for the car at the dealer, it is a 2009 with 93,000 miles on it.

I just wanted peoples takes, is this a good deal? car is from Maryland. is the mileage too high?

- Is this a good deal? Hard to tell it is all depend on the condition. options etc...
- Is the mileage too high? is there a maintenance record? sometimes the carfax report will have a list of maintenance record, if the car has been serviced by the Lexus dealer. I would not be worry too much with 93K, as long as it has been service regularly. A friend of mine owns a 2000 RX300 with 250K, and it is still running strong today.

There are some large gaps in service by Lexus, especially between 20k and 50k. Of course the lady that owned this vehicle could have had an independent shop do the maintenance. Many of us on the forum have service done by an independent shops or the local Toyota dealership. It appears that you are purchasing this vehicle from the Lexus dealership since they are doing the wholesale. The fact that this RX also has the navigation is a real plus. It's your call, but you are getting this for a good price.
