1000 mile update on 08 rx350
well we've driven this rx 1000 miles in like 3 weeks
1) the casette option for playing ipod seems to work fine
2) gas is pretty decent at 21 combined, going like 80+ on the highway
Problems
1) the tire pressure light came on, psi was like 17, i took it to walmart and the guy said there was a leak in the valve and he just had to tigthen something in there....I have no idea what that means, only charged my like 5 bucks, so no big deal, light is off now
2) the fog light bulb is fused, I ordered a replacement, any one know what a shop should charge to replace the 2?
otherwise the car is fine.....coming from the murano, its easily obvious to notice the luxury difference. the murano is more sportier to drive in the city, but I dont really see a big difference in our highway driving....its fine in the snow.
I highly recommend this car to anyone whose in the market and on the fence on pulling the trigger....wife loves this car

For 1) if the TPMS hex nuts didn't get tighten air could leak from there. Is the tire new when you purchased it? If the tire was not new, It seems to strange that it suddenly get loose.
By the way, how do yo use the cassette to play iPod? I feel no use of that option at all? Do you have something which could link the iPod with the cassette player?

I'm not sure this is what the OP meant, but it's what I'm using.

Considering the cost, you will never believe how well it works unless you try it.

I haven't had needs to replace it. But I think that the bulb replacement is not that difficult and can be a DIY? Or it would be less than 30 minutes job if someone wants to charge for time.
