Default Hot air is not coming out - instead Cold air after oil change

Ever since we did an oil change, the heat air from the RX is not coming out well. Instead of hot air, cold air is coming out even with 82 degrees for the first 10-15 minutes. After 15 minutes, it's not really hot as it used to be.

Something may have went lose? Please assist. Thank you in advance.

Check your radiator coolant levels. Some shady mechanics will drain it low then tell you that you need a flush.

It is your radiator fluid that heats the car via the heating coil.

That's sad to know that some mechanics will drain the radiator coolant levels.

I wasn't aware that the radiator fluid is one that heats the car via the heating coil.

The "coolant" aka radiator fluid aja antifreeze, is what is routed through the engine to keep it at a reasonable temperature. Reasonable being between 150 and 280 degrees usually. This warmed liquid, is then routed to the heater coil via the heater hoses going into the firewall and then to the heating coil. Then air is moved over the coil and warmed.

Check that level first. Then check to make sure your fan motor is blowing ok. Also check your cabin filter to make sure it is not clogged or not placed properly.
