Default ETSC Class Action Suit

First I have even heard of this, but today I received a post card in the mail regarding a class action suit regarding the ETCS (electronic throttle control systems) in my 2004 RX330. One of those where I need do nothing unless I plan on suing separately from their planned action. This is a continuation of the unintended acceleration suits working their way through the courts. Details here:

www.toyotaelsettlement.com

One of those where the lawyers get the bulk of the money and the owners affected get next to nothing, IMO. Personally, I do not believe this to have been a widespread problem and that most incidents were self inflicted. Sure, there may be actual cases just nothing which makes every vehicle made to be suspect.

Anyone else get this card in the mail?

Sorry, a bit dysgraphic on the title. Should read ETCS and not ETSC.

Everyone who owned a Lexus lost money on this unintended acceleration problem. It affected trade-in value and resale value. I received a postcard from Toyota and filed a settlement claim. Based on the information I provided I should receive $125.

Looks like the best I can hope for here in FL is $87.50. No brake override system available for our generation RX.

The postcards will be mailed over a period of months, so don't lose hope. The money won't be paid out until all legal matters are resolved.

No, you need to go to the website on the postcard and sign in using the PIN number on the card. Fill out the required information. If you don't file a claim you won't receive anything!
