Default Auto-Dimming rear view mirror stop working

Hello,

I noticed that the Auto-Dimming rear view mirror stop working in my 2008 Lexus RX 350. Recently I have to replace the front windshield (through Safelite) and after that I noticed that the right side green light doesn't come up and the auto dimmer is not working. Ideally when the engine is tuned on both left and right side green lights should be on. But in my case only the left side is on.

Will there be any loose connection after replacing the windshild? or did the fuse went out?

Please advice.

Thanks!

Spoke with SafeLite and they asked me to contact Lexus dealership to see if the issue is with loose (wire) connection or blown-out fuse. As per the manager, they are willing to fix this, if this issue was caused by their mechanic. But before that they they need this confirmation from Lexus dealer.

Is there any way to know what could be the problem, or do I have to take it to the lexus dealer?

Check the fuse yourself first. And then I would do as they ask and have the dealer take a look at it. Try and have an oil change or something done along with it so your not just taking it there for that alone.

I agree check your fuse, or the connection to the back of the mirror.
