New Owner of 2005 RX330 - just one question please
I have spent over an hour using the search function for the answer to my question, but have resigned to ask for help.
The original owner did not erase any of her information (phone numbers, addresses, etc.) from the navigation system, and I have been unable to figure out how to erase her info so that I can load mine. I have set up a new User but still cannot seem to figure out how to use the system.
If you could provide me with some assistance, I would really appreciate it.

I am not 100 % sure, but I think that when you update the system to the latest navi version, it erases all contacts etc. You can also revert to the current versoin you run and it should erase the contacts when you go through the install process.

I purchased the same model two months ago and had the same issue. Just go into the phone book menu and look for the option to delete all contacts from each phone book listed. I had to delete three phone books. Then simply link your cell phone contacts via blue tooth to the navigation system and you're finished. I can't remember the exact steps but if you just play around in the menu's you'll be fine. I was surprised how well this all works!
If you can't figure it out ask a kid who is good with computers or cell phones to help and they'll be done in 10 minutes! You don't have to update the system to do this.
