Default 2004 RX330 How many Miles?

New to web site would like to know how many pleasurable miles are possible in a 2004 RX330. I live in western NY and the winters are tough.

This person bought a 2004 with 220,000 miles and loves it. She must have many more on it by now:

You can easily get 190,000 out of it without any major issues. I would expect problems after that point and expect wear and tear items to need replacing north of 200K miles.

Have you owned it since new, what's the service or care history?

2004 here bought from a dealer from a lease return so I'm the second owner.

I have about 190,000 kilometers. Have had some issues and hard steering is coming back. But I would expect that with my regular maintenance with the dealer, the engine and transmission could last "forever". Other parts may not last as long as our city uses lots of salt in the winter.

Edit: my memory played tricks on me. Odometer is around 208,000 km.

Keep the salt washed off the undercarriage and paint, clean, polish, wax, fluids changed as recomended, tires inflated properly. Check the brakes, struts, PS rack for leaks it should last for many more km.
Enjoy driving it!!

By western New York, im just going to assume Buffalo. Did you buy it at northtown? if you did keep servicing it their, real nice and while expensive, its worth it. Get the delta sonic monthly wash 2, great for the winter. We have a 2008 and it has 70k and has been great. Not an rx, buy my es300 has 205k miles. Lexus as a whole is a pretty solid make

Default How Many Mile With RX

Yes, purchased the RX at Northtown. Also bought a new GS400 there in 1998. Hope the 2004 RX 330 will function trouble free as the GS400 has. In my experience, the GS 400 is the best car I've ever owned. Hard to keep the AWD RX330, which I use in the winter, salt free. I wash top and underside of the car regularly in the winter whenever temp is above freezing .

^Not many gs's in Buffalo let alone the gs400. You didn't by any chance pick up the flint mica one with running boards did you?

Buffalo,NY: GS400 is silver. Never used in a Buffalo winter. So much power and torque the car is dangerous in even a small amount of snow.

Just bought a 2005 RX330 Thundercloud with 230K miles. It was a one owner vehicle with all Lexus dealer services.

175k miles on my RX330 with routine maintenance (oil and filter, fluid changes, brakes, etc). I see other posters who have put 300k-400k miles on their RX330 on the original engine and transmission.

So yes, these will last with routine maintenance and care.
