Passenger side rear seat won't fold down.
I used the search function and couldn't find anything so if this has been discussed before I am sorry.
On my recently bought '04 RX330 the rear passenger seat will not fold down. When I pull the handle up it feels like it is not connected to anything. The drivers side and the center one work fine. I am assuming that it should be connected to a cable of some sort that unlatches it and allows it to fold flat. Has anyone else experienced this? I was thinking of trying to take the back carpet piece off the seat to look inside but couldn't see how to take it off? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like your cable has been disconnected. Will need to tear down the seat to check and repair.

Passenger rear seat won't go/up or down on 04 rx330
I had same problem mine was solved by remove little plastic cover on latch release and remove the two screws. My cable came out of the holder. Push back in till it snaps. Reverse to put back together.
