I know that people have tried to have this done by going to the dealer, but i don't think that it was successful. I may be wrong on this tho

You need to buy a undated disc on Kijiji or some selling site like that. The dealer wants 150.00 plus, you can buy one for 30.00 which i did and it's 11.1. I live in Canada so the only thing I did was go to the Nav screen and change my settings to CANADA. With the new disc you need to locate your DVD player in the rear of the vehicle, under the floor and pop out the goofy one and pop in the new one. That as I stated above ( look in your Nav manual) and change the geographical settings to your location and you are off. Jamie

Thanks Jamiez, so the undated disc means navigation cd right? as long as I got the cd I will be able to change the system location and get evrything up and running?Lexus dealer in our country (new zealand) quote me a price $550 nzd dollar plus tax for just the nav cd! that's really expensive. I am going to make it work and see if lexus can do cheaper otherwise I give up the oem nav

I been told I got the whole nav sys parts incl: nav screen at front, cd player at the back, athena, cables, but I see there are slight difference at the back of the climate control, there is only 1 plug, however nav screen has a few plugs, I assume they are for antenna, reverse camera computer, etc.
Im still working on it.

Thanks for your info, I will ask dealer to see if I just need the nav cd
