I have to side with him... I've seen similar threads pop up [typically once per year] where people claim some biased bull**** facts as to why their Japanese car is better than a canadianese one...

Regardless, as mentioned as well, these things are solid. Little squeaks or issues aren't common enough to even get a sample size. The 2IS guys' on the other hand are a bunch of whiners that expect LS600hL's for <45k when they get squeaks and will squabble over little things.

I've seen a handful of 'big' issues on here, but they are negligible since it was user/dealer error and/or neglect. One guy had a Power steering issue since the prev. owner put in PS fluid and not trans. fluid...
