Looking to purchase used 330 with 95k miles-good idea?
Hi, iam just wondering if it is a good idea to purchase a 330 that is that used. What are some things to be aware of....should timing belt already be replaced at 95k miles? I am thinking i should easily be able to get another 100k miles out of a lexus. Am i way off?
Just hoping for some expert advice/opinions?
Thanks!

Yes, make sure the belt has been done, lot of people trade around 90k to avoid doing it. Check the steering rack for leaks, that's expensive. I wouldn't be afraid of a Toyota/Lexus with 95k (mine had 73k when I got it, not too different).
If it's been well maintained and survives a mechanical check I would have no problem at all if the price is right. Sign up here as a driver and plug in the VIN to check Lexus records on the car.

What Carver said
and it prolly wouldn't hurt to find a trusted mechanic for a PRE-purchase inspection. If you're serious about the car....its $ well spent.
I've bought Toyotas and Lexi w/80 and 90K miles w/no problems. Bought a GS300 w/40K miles and come to find out it had been hit and not reported to insurance. No Car FAX either. Nightmare

Another thing to look at if it's AWD is if the rear wheel bearing have been replaced. Mine went at about 95k as have a lot of others.
If it has been properly maintained go for it

I purchased a RX 330 with 124,000 miles... all of the maintenance records were in glove box, which included timing belt replacement. Oil changes performed. transmission fluid was clean and no burnt odor. NO REGRETS..... If it is properly cared for you should easily get another 100k out of it.... Good Luck...
