I couldn't be happier with it but the Claret 2013 RX I looked at while mine was being serviced this morning was tempting.

I think $23K is a little too much to pay, since they only offered me $18K trade-in for mine, in mint condition. Mine has all the bells and whistles, including satellite radio, nav, leather, etc. I also added a $500 trailer hitch to tow a boat but I have never towed anything with it. I recommend going to JD Power web site and enter the car's specs and see what it would be worth if you owned it and were trading it in. Then, you can see how much profit the seller wants to make. That will strengthen your negotiating position.

Consumer Reports doesn't recommend the extended warranties. I would get a CarFax to see what the maintenance history is. If it has a good history, decline the extended warranty. If it doesn't have a good history, then look for another car.
We both had the KBB printout on it, he asked for the lowest trade-in value listed. I offered him $3500 less than that and he said OK. Got it home and cleaned the interior up last night. Loaded up all the baseball spectator equipment that the wife hauls around, bag chairs, blankets, umbrellas, rain gear, snacks, weather radio, and it actually all fit. Didn't get a chance to upload the pics yet. Went on an ice cream run after it got dark to check out the HID lighting. Pretty wild when you start it up and they move around and then center back up. Not that impressed with the low beams but the high beams are awesome. Love the auto-darkening mirrors, my long gone 1992 Bonneville SSE had that option and I have always missed it. One little bug that kinda irks me is that the drivers side headlight washer cover/nozzle popped off. Snapped it back on, but it just pops off again. It also hesitates slightly when you hammer it to the floor from a dead stop, yea, I had to do it. The guy did say that his brother never ran 91 octane in it, and he filled it up last week with regular as well. We'll burn it up and put some good stuff in it next time and see if that helps.

It's about $1900 for 3 years or 36000 miles. I'm usually pretty wary of extended warranties, but I haven't dealt with lexus repairs yet.
Did you get the warranty? I just bought a RX 350 and used penfed and they offered me this warranty also. I was thinking of grabbing it since it looked very good.
